Scalene is a brazilian rock band from Brasília formed in 2009. The band has an EP: “Cromático” (2012), 3 full albuns: “Real/Surreal” (2013); “ÉTER” (2015) and “magnetite” (2017) and live DVD: “Ao Vivo em Brasília” (2016). In 2016 the band was awarded a Latin Grammy for “Best Portuguese Rock Álbum” with the LP “ÉTER”. The band has also played some of the worlds biggest festivals: SXSW in Texas, Lollapalooza Brazil in São Paulo and will play the main stage at this years Rock in Rio in Rio de Janeiro.
Born in Brasilia, home to some of the leading bands of the Brazilian Rock, the group is mainly influenced by various genres and subgenres of Rock, such as grunge, post-grunge, indie, punk and Stoner Rock.
Last year, Trampa released their latest album called “íViva la Evolución!” witch features 10 tracks that address different ailments and critiques to society and its power relations – making a picture of this new “”reactionary wave”” that is plaguing Brazil today
ETNO is a four piece rock band based in Brasília with influences that range from grunge to new metal but adding a contemporary touch to their sound and performance. The band has been on the road gaining speed for the last 15 years, building a solid career and a big influence in their hometown as well as other cities and states of Brazil. Today the band is releasing their third studio album with a twist, in chapters. The first chapter, “As 7 Fronteiras” was released in 2016 with a series of videos for each track, an animated lyric video for “O Último Anjo”, a full animation for the explosive “Diário da Morte”, a beautifully photographed “Sobreviver” and a tattoo giveaway promotion turned music video with live performances for “Sétima Fronteira”. In 2017, comes the release of the second and third chapters, closing the album at last.
