 1st Round of Artists for Indie Week Canada 2015

Indie Week takes over Toronto’s music venues NOVEMBER 15-20, 2016 showcasing the best emerging talent from all over the world. Each year is bigger and better, and this year is no exception with more showcases, events, parties, then ever before. Indie Week strives on producing a festival that is meant to encourage discovering new acts.

Past performers include: Glen Matlock (Sex Pistols), Mike Joyce (The Smiths/ DJ set), Walk Off the Earth, The Mahones, Jessica Mitchell, KO, Cousins, Diana, Lyon, Parallels, THe Mohrs, Jane’s Party, Sumo Cyco, Cairo, The OBGM’s, and many more.

The week includes music, film (Reel Indie Film Fest), industry + tech conference (indie101) and more to be announced….

Indie Week is an independent music festival founded in Toronto in 2003. After 6 years of great success in Ireland, Indie Week Europe expanded in 2015 with Manchester, UK as its new host city. Indie Week Canada is a one of a kind experience. Emerging artists perform in front of the music industry elite for a chance to win the “Best of the Fest”, and the grand prize of a trip to Manchester to headline Indie Week Europe 2016.
